Southport Marina, Southport, NC

This is a gorgeous little harbor town where the Cape Fear River intersects with the ICW and the Atlantic Ocean.  I was taking a picture of this old home, circa 1890's, when a native driving by asked if I was taking a picture because the house was used quite a bit in the movie "Safe Haven".  Who knew?  This cute little town has been a find for the movie and TV industry.   Other TV and movie credits belong to Dawson's Creek and Matlock (TV), and I Know What You Did Last Summer, Summer Catch, Crimes of the Heart, A Walk to Remember, amongst others.

Different angle.

Another historical home.

Had a delicious meal where the locals like to eat - Provisions.

It only takes 495 nautical miles to get to Vermilion, OH.

Our lil' guy chillin' with the big boys.

Everything is nice and neat at the dock.  Even our boat lines.

View of the marina slips.
